Children of Eleanor Emily Lemire Corey and Leslie J. Corey

Eleanor E. Lemire Corey was born in Sentinel Butte, ND on July 14, 1925. She is the last of 13 children born to George and Evelina Lemire. Currently Eleanor (Ellie) lives in Mt. Angel, Oregon near her daughter Kathleen (Kathy).

Eleanor married Leslie J. Corey in Medford, OR. on Jan. 9, 1946. They reared seven children in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Ellie received her BA in Education at the U of O at the age of 46 and
taught 3rd grade for twelve years until she and her husband retired. Ellie and her husband traveled extensively into their 70's and worked as volunteers with St. Vincent de Paul until Les' death in 2003. Ellie lived in her home in Cottage Grove until 2005 when she moved to Mt. Angel to be closer to her daughters, Kathy and Mary.
